PARIS

                                              
Paris is a city to discover, seeing the sights, visiting the museums, they're part of the experience. But then jump on the metro or a bus and get off at a place you've never heard of, wander through a quartier where French mixes with Arabic or Vietnamese,have lunch in a local restaurant, poke your head into mysterious shops, or just perch on a cafe terrace with a vin blanc and let yourself fall in love with the city.
Paris is the essence of all things French. From romance along the Seine to landscapes on bus-sized canvases to the pick-an-ism types in cafes monologuing on the use of garlic or the finer points of Jerry Lewis, this city assaults the senses. Savour its gourmet pastiche of cheese, chocolate, wine and seafood. Feel the wind in your face as you rollerblade through Bastille, or a frisson of fear and pleasure atop the Eiffel Tower.



Paris is the capital of France and the country`s largest city. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region. The City of Paris, within its limits largely unchanged since 1860. Paris is today one of the world`s leading business and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world`s major global cities. Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, with over 30 million foreign visitors per year. There are numerous iconic landmarks among its many attractions, along with world-famous institutions and popular parks.


Paris is known for its fashion designers and the twice-yearly Paris Fashion Week, and for its haute cuisine, and three-star restaurants. Most of France's major universities and Grandes écoles are located in Paris, as are France's major newspapers, including Le MondeLe Figaro, and Libération.
Paris is home to the association football club Paris Saint-Germain F.C. and the rugby union club Stade Français. The 80,000-seat Stade de France, built for the 1998 FIFA World Cup, is located in Saint-Denis. Paris hosts the annual French Open Grand Slam tennis tournament on the red clay of Roland Garros. Paris played host to the 1900 and 1924 Summer Olympics, the 1938 and 1998 FIFA World Cups, and the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
The city is a major rail, highway, and air-transport hub, served by the two international airports Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. Opened in 1900, the city's subway system, the Paris Métro, serves 9 million passengers daily. Paris is the hub of the national road network, and is surrounded by three orbital roads: the Périphérique, the A86 motorway, and the Francilienne motorway in the outer suburbs.

Language is the first thing that may worry you when you hear the music of Paris. Sure you could expect to hear it in Spanish. Traditionally Paris music is sung in French, so I could review a little of the language before you dive into the music scene in Paris.
You can still enjoy the most part, especially if you try some house in Paris. In this particular genre highlights the pace and vibration of the songs instead of letters, so you will enjoy easier.
